The Net Zero Farmers Academy (NZFA) is a proposed farmer-development initiative focused on strengthening agricultural livelihoods through practical education, climate-smart production, agribusiness development, and non-interest finance.

To equip farmers and agripreneurs with practical agricultural skills, business capabilities, climate-resilient solutions, and knowledge of non-interest financing models that support inclusive and sustainable agricultural development.
THE CONTEXT
Why Net Zero Farmers Academy?
Farmers face interconnected challenges: changing rainfall patterns, soil degradation, production costs, post-harvest losses, market uncertainty, and limited access to suitable investment capital.
Addressing one challenge in isolation is rarely enough.
NZFA takes an integrated approach. Farmers learn how to improve production, understand their costs, identify realistic market opportunities, and evaluate financing options that match their businesses. Environmental sustainability is considered alongside productivity, profitability, and risk management
Our goal is not simply to train farmers. It is to help create the conditions in which sustainable farming enterprises can start, survive, and grow.
